Legislative Calendar -
The Alabama Legislature will next meet in Regular Session at Noon, on Tuesday February 5, 2008.
The length of the regular session is limited to 30 meeting days within a period of 105 calendar days. There are usually two meeting or "legislative" days per week, with each Wednesday devoted to committee meetings.
The legislature must adjourn by May 19, 2008.
No other legislative session will occur during 2008 unless a special session is called by Governor Bob Riley.
